I wouldn’t bother respcing just now. Stuff like Defltion will bome more vital as you start tanking morehallenging stuff. The enemies in Northrend normies just don’t hit that hard. Also, you’ll enjoy rkoning while you’re leveling. Avoid gettingaught in the “old world” trap. The higher end instaes at the end of T do have good drops, but frankly it’s not needed. Get yourself into Northrend ASAP and start pking up the quest drops. You don’t need to attempt to be uritable for non-hero instaes. My adve is to get geared up with good STA, Def, STR type gear and move on. Youan tank it at 70 with few problems. Get yourself into some BS gear as soon as you are of the proper level to wear it. I *think* I used two BS shields from 70-80, then made myself the ep Titansteel one. My point is that better gear is available to you through high end T instaes than you’ll find in early Wrath Quests. However – The effort to get them out weighs their benifits. My adve – Get to northrend quk. If you have Rep with T, yeah, use it, but do not fus on anything in T other than getting to 68 and leaving on your first boatzep to Northrend.
I ed not too long ago
So if you remember I ed not too long ago about diding between a warrior and paladin tank. Ihose my pally and am now 68. I’m going to level as prot to 80. I’ve been trying to look for a dent set of tank gear for starting NexusUK. I was mainly looking at level 70 instaes to get a dent set of gear going. I know about the ones to get in wotlk instaes, but what should I use for starting? I noted a 33def or so trinket from shadow labs and a ep trinket with def and a dodgelk that you needed Shattered Sun – Revered. I know there is theobalt set at 80 but I was wondering if any of the items from instaes would be better. Any adve on gear would be appriated. My sond question is on my talents. I just did a quk resp from ret and didnt think mh about pking up the parry from ret tree. Should I drop rkoning or some other talent and pk up 55 Defltion? Granted I probably wont start tanking instaes till I get a set of better gear whh will probably be around 7071, but I think I should still fill out Defltion before something like rkoning. Edit: Sorry about link,ant seem to fix it. Also any Kara gear from the easier beginning bosses is doable. Iould easily put together a pretty solid group of 4-5 80′s toome along to help. The only thing you might not get anything dent for are trinkets. There is a quest in Netherstorm that will give you wow.allakhazamomdbitem.ht…soue=live and the figurine of theolossus from Shattered Halls or the trinket from SLabs are yourhoes for your other trinket. Theobalt tanking gear starts being available at 70, there is a great BSrafted shield youan start using at 73, and the tempered saronitedaunting stuff is available in the 74-78 range. There is also a great tankinghest available from the Kalu’ak at level 76 with honored reputation (and if you aren’t honored with the Kalu’ak by level 72 or so you did something very wrong!) Dab’s Enigma is a guarantee (quest reward) so take a tr to Netherstorm with a friend or two and go get it. If you think it is worth the effort, do SLabs or Shattered Halls for another trinket. If you are reallyrazy, at 68 youan go into Kara and run for some tanking gear (the best stuff being the sword hess), the helm (Opera), theloak (I forget) and the nkle (Maiden) although there is some other tank stuff as well) but youannot use any of it until level 70. However, Kara is fun and would not take you long with some 80′s to help you, so if you feel like it, go for it. The main problem is, it is possible that NONE of that would drop, and Kara doesn’t unlk for a week, by whh time you will (hopefully) be in the 73-75 range and not need any of it anymore. I would still do it oe just to do it (mainly bause I love Kara). It really doesn’t matter, bause it does not take an eeptional tank set to tank regular UK or Nexus, and therafted stuff along with quest rewards is enough to get you to 80 and have you start doing heros if you plan ahead and know what to go for. Getting a few 70 tanking trinkets and a few Kara drops would give you a head start, so it wouldn’t hurt, but I wouldn’tall it a nessity. I would say it is a nessity to do all of theoldara quests so that you get all 4 Nexus quests and then run Nexus. By doing that you get guaranteed (quest reward) tanking boots, shoulders, and gloves.

Whh is a problem, sie even after strping out all my +hit orange gems, and ehants i’m still ~40 points over the hitap. Betrayer of Humanity is unquestionably the better weapon bause of it’s damage range and dps, but failing that i would sayryptfiend’s Bite or The Jawboneome in sond sie there’s no +hit in sight; the points instead going to Agi,rit rating and haste or expertise. And AP ofourse. I’d prefer either the zone drop hammer or maex’s hammer to KT10 man axe, bause theres so mh hit in game for rets, the expertise on the hammers will do a lot more (ofourse, you’ll have to fight tanking DKs for em). You also forgot about Armageddon, the 4 horseman 25 sword. I think for PvE, the titansteel destroyer beats eveything but the KT 25 axe, the Maex and naxx 25 hammers, the KT 10 axe and the 4 horseman 25 sword. For PvP, the skullladleaver and thelaymore of Aient Power from 4-horsemen 10 are probably betterause the destroyer’s hit is wasted itemizations there. The short answer is: raft the titansteel destroyer when you ping 80, and use that until you get a naxx 25 replement with STR itemization.

So I’m standing just inside the instae at hero UK after being the last person summoned in and I start getting tells from my healer troll priest (Here’s his armory) ~ now, it’s fairly obvious to me he’s ran his fair share of heros. I’ve ran 9-10 but haven’t really tried to run more, just when it’sonvenient to me. He asks me if I’m really planning on tanking in the gear I’m in (gear link in my sig subtrting my argent dawnommision for that 70 armor trinket). I told him it’s some of the best stuff Ian’t get for heros pre-raid and I haven’t had real problems in any heros I’ve done, iluding running hero UK aouple times already. After the first few rooms we got to the dragons room and we startedlearing it, when I noted I was always gettinglose to death on the pulls. Now, I’ll be honest, my style of tanking has never really iluded using Barkskin on the trash pulls, unless i’m pulling more than 3 but I was having toonstantly pop that and the 30% health talent. I stopped after the sond dragon to let him regen mana and he was openlyomplaining in partyhat of how mh damage I was taking during the run. Whh has never happened to me before. I may not be the best geared bear in the world, but I figure 28k self buffed hp, 22k armor and 35.5% dodge is really resptable. Getting hit for 2k-3.5k in heros is normal to me. During the next pull I die, and the Deathknight ends up tanking the dragon and survives (barely) at whh time the priest prlaims that he should tank bause I’m not geared for it. Then it got into a heatedonversation about druid tanking gear and what stats are important. I told him that defense was nigh worthless to bears and he flped, we ended up wing and both myself and him left the group. I’m not upset about it, and I’m not even worried, I’m just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experiee or has been asked about their gear before?

Hiya, To the OP: indeed, as was mentioned above, your first was not the best ever ed. But hey, you are in the friendly neighborhood, so not mh harm done here. I have not seen this in replies yet, but when levelling, I turn your mros around. Something like this: cast Poue cast Tiger’s Fury and even castlaw cast Tiger’s Fury Granted, my openerattk does not get the benefit of TF, but at this way, Tiger’s Fury is up as mh as possible. I tend to forget about spials like TF, trinkets e, so for me it is a godsend. Maximum uptime but a bit loss in the start. As a sond opinion on “sequeed” mros: try to avoid them. Situationshange,ertainly when soloing (levelling), so you best start training the use of your appropriate abilities at appropriate times. When you sequee and something goes wrong, you have to start looking for other buttons, whh is at the very least… ionvenient. Pffff I hope the above makes any sense, bause I am too tired right now to read it bk again. (sorry in advae)

I don’t think youan add modifiers like that into a mro. Mros do not haveonditional statements like if this than that.Maybe ian do this then cast tiger’s fury cast r cast rake it will try to do r when available and then rake?! I just want to get the extra damage in…

Ok, OP here…so when you guys say “spamming” Wild Growth is that literally hitting it every sond? Or are you waiting a few sonds? I’m justurious to find out how people are using this. I usually keep a stk of lb’s on the main tank, along with rejuv.
